28 June 2010 Avia Health Informatics Plc ("Avia" or "the Company") Subscription to raise £200,000

Avia is pleased to announce that it has raised £200,000 by way of a subscription ("the Subscription") of 333,334 new ordinary shares at 60p per share ("the Subscription Shares") by institutional investors introduced to it by Merchant John East Securities Limited, the Company's nominated adviser and broker.

Following the Subscription, the Company will have 5,283,583 ordinary shares in issue.

The net proceeds of the Subscription, amounting to approximately £190,000, will be applied primarily to continue development work on the Company's roll out of its mobile clinical decision support software products and to complete the development of specific touch-screen applications.

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the Subscription Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. Trading in the Subscription Shares is expected to commence on AIM on 1 July 2010.

Commenting today, Chairman, Barry Giddings said:

"We are very pleased to have raised this money which supplements the Company's existing cash resources and enables us to carry out the mobile software product development without altering our existing work programmes. We are confident the development of the mobile software products for use on touch-screen devices with their tailored content for different user markets within all parts of the world, will help support Plain's international development strategy via its International Partnership Programme and bring more reseller and direct clients through to the company."
