KEFI Minerals plc ("KEFI" or the "Company') AIM: KEFI Issue of Equity

The Company confirms that they have today issued 1,150,000 Ordinary Shares pursuant to the exercise of options. (the "Option Shares")

Application has been made to admit the Option Shares to trading on AIM, and dealings in the Option Shares are expected to commence on 4 February 2011.

Following the issue of the Option Shares the total number of Ordinary Shares now in issue in the Company is 334,136,358.
