Weatherly International PLC17 August 2007 Weatherly International plc ("Weatherly" or the "Company") Issue of Equity Pursuant to the announcement made on 20 July 2007, the Company announces that ithas today issued 48,000,000 new ordinary shares of 0.5p each ("New OrdinaryShares") at 21p per share raising £10.08 million before expenses (the"Placing"). The New Ordinary Shares have been admitted to trading on AIM("Admission") and dealings commenced today. As a result of the issue of the New Ordinary Shares, the issued share capitalnow comprises 404,646,567 ordinary shares of 0.5p each. The total number of voting rights as at 17 August 2007 is 404,646,567. There are no shares in treasury and there is no other class of share in issue which has voting rights. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the the Company, under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
