Issue of EMI Options
Wey Education plc (AIM:WEY), the educational services group announces that on 12 June 2018 the Company granted 1,591,343 EMI share options ("Options") to Mr Barry Nichols-Grey, Company Secretary. The Company has also granted 1,591,343 Options to Mr Tony Knowles, HR Director. Both grants of options were in accordance with their Contracts of Employment.
Both grants of Options have an option exercise price of 15.7 pence each, representing the average of the closing middle market share price for the five business days prior to issue. The Options are subject to share price performance criteria in comparison with the AIM All-Share Index and save for in the event of a change of control of the Company, cannot be exercised before 12 June 2021.
