Issue of floating rate unsecured notes 201119 April 2006Friends Provident plc announces that on 18 April 2006 it issued ‚£18,030,885floating rate unsecured notes 2011 (the `Notes'). The Notes are not listed.As stated in the Preliminary Results Announcement of 23 March 2006, the maximumconsideration of ¢â€š¬85 million has become due to the vendors in respect of the2005 deferred consideration payable in relation to the purchase of LombardInternational Assurance S.A..
