ISSUANCE OF SUBORDINATED NOTES

On 10 September 2013, HSBC Holdings plc issued EUR1,500,000,000 Subordinated Fixed-to-Fixed Rate Notes due 2024 (callable 2019) (the 'New Notes').

Application has been made to list the New Notes on the London Stock Exchange.
