ISSUANCE OF NEW SHARES
Frontera Resources Corporation, an independent oil and gas exploration and production company, today announced that, pursuant to an exercise of stock options, it has applied for the admission of 20,000 shares of Common Stock to trading on AIM.
Following this issue, the enlarged issued share capital of the Company is 72,998,293 shares of Common Stock (excluding Treasury: 5,739,855). The new shares, which are expected to be admitted to trading on August 19, 2008, will rank pari passu with the existing shares.
