Satisfaction of Condition Precedent for Agreement with the Isle of Man Treasury and appointment of Steve Christian to the Pinewood Board of Directors
Isle of Man Agreement
Further to the announcement of 1 October 2012 relating to the agreement entered into with the Isle of Man Treasury (the "Agreement"), Pinewood Shepperton plc ("Pinewood" or the "Company"), a leading provider of services to the global film and television industry, today announces that the Company has received the consents required from the Financial Services Authority for the Agreement to become unconditional. Accordingly the Agreement will come into effect on 25 October 2012.
Appointment of Steve Christian as a Director
Pinewood also announces that Steve Christian, ACA (full name James Stephen Christian) will join the Board as an Executive Director from 25 October 2012. Mr. Christian will be responsible for coordinating the investment advice to the Isle of Man Treasury Film and Television Fund.
Steve Christian (aged 48) has been responsible for overseeing the development of the Isle of Man's film investment programme since 1995 and has recently completed the financing of their 100th film and television project. He is currently a non executive director of the Isle of Man's largest energy provider The Manx Electricity Authority and is also a director of CinemaNX Limited, Fordex Limited, Agrimark Limited and Gasworks Media Limited. Mr Christian was previously a non executive director of Isle of Man Film Limited.
No further information is required to be disclosed under Rule 17 or Schedule 2 paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies in respect of Mr. Christian's appointment as a Director of the Company.
