The Directors of the Company wish to advise that the timing for distribution of dividends by the distributing share classes of the Fund will be moved back by one month (as described below) with effect from (on or around) 4 May 2017 (the "Effective Date").

The changes being made will not impact the manner in which your investment is managed.

A new version of the Company's prospectus will be published on (or around) the Effective Date, subject to its approval by the Central Bank of Ireland, and will be available on www.ishares.com. Shareholders should refer to the prospectus for full details of the changes described below.

Terms defined in the Company prospectus bear the same meaning herein.

Change of dividend policy of the Fund

The Company intends to declare dividends pursuant to the prospectus on the Shares of the Distributing Share Classes of the Fund. Dividends may be paid out of the total income of the applicable Distributing Share Class net of any relevant expenses in respect of each financial year. Dividends will normally be declared with a view to being paid semi-annually.

The current prospectus states that dividends will normally be declared with a view to being paid in May and November. Due to an administrative error dividends were incorrectly paid in 2016 in June and December (in line with other funds in the Company).

In order to align the Fund dividend policy with that of other funds in the Company, the Company intends to change the dividend disclosure in the prospectus to state that dividends will normally be declared with a view to being paid in June and December (instead of May and November) with effect from the Effective Date.
