Investor Day and June Sales Update

Premier Farnell plc will be hosting an investor day in London today. The event will focus on the continuing transformation of the Group over the next 1,000 days and the growth opportunities inherent in the electronic component high service distribution market.

Ahead of its investor day, Premier Farnell reports that the Group's strong sales performance seen in the first four months of financial year 2011 has continued into June during which sales grew by 29% year on year. No further material information will be disclosed at the investor day.

The Group will report its second quarter results for the year ending 30 January 2011 on 9 September 2010.
