MANDATE: MFB Hungarian Development Bank EUR Benchmark 5Y Reg S Bonds
MFB Hungarian Development Bank Private Limited Company (MFB - Ticker: MAGYAR), rated Baa2 (negative) by Moody's and BBB (stable) by Fitch, has mandated BNP Paribas, Erste Group, ING, J.P.Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Raiffeisen Bank International as Joint Lead Managers in connection with an EUR-denominated senior unsecured benchmark transaction. A Global Investor Call will be held today, 19 May 2025, at 10:30 UKT / 11:30 CET alongside a series of virtual fixed-income investor meetings, also commencing on 19 May 2025.
The EUR-denominated 5-year senior unsecured Regulation S benchmark transaction in Registered format (the Notes) is expected to follow in the near future, subject to market conditions. MFB's obligations under the Notes are guaranteed by a statutory first demand absolute direct suretyship in accordance with Hungarian legislation pursuant to the MFB Act. The Notes are expected to be rated Baa2 by Moody's and BBB by Fitch.
Relevant stabilization regulations including FCA/ICMA apply. Manufacturer target market (MiFID II product governance) is professional investors and ECPs target market (all distribution channels). No PRIIPs key information document (KID) has been prepared as not available to retail investors in EEA or UK.
