INVESTMENT INCENTIVE PLAN
Ashtead Group plc announces that the 221,227 and 55,305 ordinary shares conditionally granted to Mr S I Robson and Mr S Dhaiwal respectively on 19 August 2004 under the Company's Investment Incentive Plan have today, 30 August 2007, vested unconditionally as the performance criteria attaching to the grant have been met in full.
Following today's vesting the beneficial holdings of Mr Robson and Mr Dhaiwalare:- Total number of shares Percentage of held issued share capital Mr Robson 812,477 0.14% Mr Dhaiwal 229,817 0.04%
Additionally, Mr Robson and Mr Dhaiwal conditionally hold 568,062 and 356,009 ordinary shares respectively under the Company's Performance Share Plan.
