Imperial Innovations Group plc10 October 2006 Imperial Innovations Group plc ("Imperial Innovations") Investment in InforSense Imperial Innovations Group plc (AIM: IVO), the technology transfer andcommercialisation company, today announces that it has invested £1.6 million inInforSense Limited ("InforSense"), a leading provider of software to the lifesciences, financial services and other industries. The investment in InforSense,which is the largest single investment Imperial Innovations has made to date,was part of a £5.3 million funding round which was jointly led by Fleming Familyand Partners Private Equity ("FF&P"). InforSense will use the investment to continue expanding its global footprintand to accelerate new product developments and additional applicationinitiatives in both its current and new markets. InforSense was formed by Imperial Innovations and Professor Yike Guo in 1999,based on the research conducted by Professor Guo and his team in the Departmentof Computing at Imperial College London. Imperial Innovations has continued tosupport the company since formation by introducing experienced management andproviding access to industrial customers, as well as investing in the company.
