Intertek Group plc (the "Company")

The Company was notified today, 22 November 2012, by Capita Trustees Limited, the Trustees of the Intertek Group Employee Benefit Trust (the "Trust"), that, on 22 November 2012, the Trust purchased 17,500 shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of £27.75 per Ordinary Share.

Following this purchase, the Trust holds 24,754 Ordinary Shares representing 0.001 per cent of the Company's issued Ordinary Shares and total voting rights.
