Intertek Group EBT Share Purchase

Intertek Group plc (the "Company")

The Company was notified on 29 June 2010 by Capita Trustees Limited, the Trustees of the Intertek Group Employee Benefit Trust (the "Trust"), that, on 29 June 2010, the Trust purchased 31,000 shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 1448.6743 pence per Ordinary Share.

Following this purchase, the Trust holds 31,000 Ordinary Shares representing 0.019 per cent of the Company's issued Ordinary Shares and total voting rights.
