Intertek Group EBT Share Purchase

Intertek Group plc (the "Company")

The Company was notified on 15 March 2011 by Capita Trustees Limited, the Trustees of the Intertek Group Employee Benefit Trust (the "Trust"), that, on 14 March 2011, the Trust purchased 20,000 shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of £19.324 per Ordinary Share.

Following this purchase, the Trust holds 31,834 Ordinary Shares representing 0.019 per cent of the Company's issued Ordinary Shares and total voting rights.
