Intertek Group EBT Share Purchase

Intertek Group plc (the "Company")

The Company was notified yesterday, 26 July 2012, by Capita Trustees Limited, the Trustees of the Intertek Group Employee Benefit Trust (the "Trust"), that, on 26 July 2012, the Trust purchased 10,000 shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of £28.005 per Ordinary Share.

Following this purchase, the Trust holds 17,154 Ordinary Shares representing 0.001 per cent of the Company's issued Ordinary Shares and total voting rights.
