Asian Citrus Holdings Limited

("Asian Citrus" or "the Group")

Wins International Company of the Year at the 2009 AIM Awards

Asian Citrus, the largest orange plantation owner and operator in China, has been voted International AIM company of the year at the 2009 AIM Awards .

The AIM Awards Dinner, which recognises outstanding individuals and companies quoted on the market across a range of categories, is the blue riband AIM event of the year. The event took place on Thursday 15 October and was sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) in association with The London Stock Exchange.

Tony Tong, Chairman, commented:

"We were one of the first Chinese companies to join AIM in August 2005 and were attracted to the London market because it is one of the world's leading financial centres where the international investment community is fully represented.

"We are delighted to have won the International Company of the Year award at this year's event. It is a great reward for the hard work we have done to maintain an open dialogue with the London market and our investors.

"The global financial crisis in the second half of 2008 created an extremely challenging business environment around the world, including in China. There was a sharp drop in consumer confidence and lower demand for consumables.  Despite these challenges, we have continued to grow our revenues and profit.

"We are confident that Asian Citrus will continue to progress and deliver good value to its shareholders in the wake of the continued economic growth in China."
