Interim Management Statement
Havelock, the Educational and Retail Interiors and Point of Sale Printing Group, announces its Interim Management Statement relating to the period from 1 January 2009 to 18 May 2009.
In the current climate of economic uncertainty, the spread of Havelock's activities is proving beneficial.
Levels of activity remain good in the Educational Interiors Division, with revenues ahead of the corresponding period in the previous year. As indicated in the preliminary announcement released on 7 April, trading in the Retail Interiors and Point of Sale Divisions has continued to be challenging and the level of activity has remained below that of the equivalent period of 2008. Order visibility continues to be limited, with some customers still to finalise their expenditure budgets for the current year.
Net debt at 18 May 2009 is showing a normal seasonal increase over the level at 31 December 2008. The Group continues to operate comfortably within its available banking facilities.
