CAMBIAN GROUP PLC
THIRD QUARTER 2014 INTERIM MANAGEMENT STATEMENT
Cambian Group plc ("Cambian"), one of the UK's largest specialist behavioural health service providers, reports its interim management statement for the period from 1 July 2014 to 30 September 2014.
Cambian is pleased to report continued positive trading in the third quarter of the year. Group turnover for the nine months to 30 September 2014 was 12% higher than in the same period of 2013, with Q3 revenue growth of 14%, and continued operational leverage.
In line with our strategy to grow by targeted acquisitions, and as previously reported, Cambian acquired Ansel Limited ("Ansel") in September 2014. Ansel provides services to men suffering from personality disorders, and we plan to extend our provision in this area, with one further site under our ownership already identified for this service. We continue to look for similar acquisition opportunities which complement our existing business and enable us to reach new regions, or deliver new services, more quickly than we could do organically.
Net debt at 30 September 2014 was £137m, with significant headroom on our £200m bank facilities to enable further organic and acquisitive growth.
Saleem Asaria, CEO, commented "We are pleased to report a good performance in the third quarter of the year, reflecting the high quality and value for money that we offer. We have also made progress on both our organic and acquisitive growth opportunities and we look forward to the remainder of the year with confidence."
