MITIE Group PLC ("MITIE" or the "Company")

Interim Dividend Announcement

As referred to in MITIE's half-yearly financial report for the six months to 30 September 2011 released today, the Board of Directors of the Company has declared an interim dividend of 4.4 pence per share. It will be payable on 6 February 2012 to those shareholders on the register on 16 December 2011.

The final date for receipt or withdrawal of elections under the MITIE dividend reinvestment plan ("DRIP") will be 10 January 2012.
