Skyepharma PLC03 April 2007 3 April 2007 SkyePharma PLC ("the Company") Notification of Major Interest in Shares In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules 5.1.2, we have receiveda notification dated 2 April 2007 from UBS Investment Bank ("UBS") stating thatas at 29 March 2007, it held a notifiable interest of 39,424,935 shares inSkyePharma PLC, (39,424,345 shares held in the name of UBS AG London branch and590 shares held in the name of UBS Securities LLC) which represents 4.83% of thevoting rights in the Company. Prior to the triggering transaction, UBS held 41,701,216 Ordinary Shares and thethreshold that has been crossed is 5%.
