Redbus Interhouse PLC05 December 2005 For immediate release 5 December 2005 Redbus Interhouse PLC ("Redbus" or "the Company") Interest in Shares The Company was informed on 2 December 2005 by 3i Group plc in accordance withPart VI of the Companies Act 1985 (as amended by the Companies Act 1989 and theDisclosure of Interests in Shares (Amendment) Regulations 1993) (the "Act"),that:- 1. as at 30 November 2005, Inhoco 3236 plc was directly interested (for the purposes of the Act) in 7,887,000 Ordinary Shares of 1p each comprised in, and representing 3.08% of, the relevant share capital, as defined in section 198(2) of the Act, of Redbus (the "Relevant Shares"); 2. as at 30 November 2005, each of Inhoco 3213 Limited (as the parent company owning the entire issued share capital of Inhoco 3236 plc) and 3i Group plc (as a 50% shareholder of Inhoco 3213 Limited, was indirectly interested (for the purposes of sections 203(2) and 203(3) respectively of the Act) in the Relevant Shares; 3. as at 30 November 2005, TeleCity Group plc (as the parent company owning the entire issued share capital of Inhoco 3213 Limited and therefore as the ultimate parent company of Inhoco 3236 plc) was interested (for the purposes of sections 203(2) and 203(3) respectively of the Act) in the Relevant Shares and (including the Relevant Shares and the interests held pursuant to the irrevocable undertakings received in relation to acceptance of the Offer on behalf of TeleCity Group plc for Redbus which was announced on 2 November 2005) in an aggregate of 184,188,691 Ordinary Shares of 1p each in, and representing 71.89% of, the relevant share capital, as defined in section 198(2) of the Act, of Redbus; 4. so far as is known to them at the date of the notification, the registered holder of the Relevant Shares is Inhoco 3213 Limited (as nominee for Inhoco 3236 plc); and 5. none of the Relevant Shares are shares in which they are interested by virtue of section 208(5) of the Act.
