Premier Foods plc11 September 2006 Premier Foods plc ("the Company") Disclosure of Interest in Share Capital On 11th September 2006 the Company received notification by Citibank, N.A.London Branch, Citigroup Centre, Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 5LBthat, as at, 5th September 2006 Standard Life Investments disposed of 653,592shares on behalf of Standard Life Group. This decreased the total held as amaterial interest to 14,341,349 ordinary 1p shares in the Company being below 3%of the issued share capital. The total holding registered, in the name of Vidacos Nominees, was 23,613,770ordinary 1p shares in the Company representing 9.53% of the issued sharecapital.
