Preliminary Results from Marropino South Deposit

Further to the announcement on 1 September 2010, the Company (AIM:NVTA) has received the initial pit sampling results for Marropino South. The initial results indicate that the deposit appears to be characterised by localised very high grade pockets of tantalum rather than a pegmatite deposit of a similar nature to the one at Marropino. Due to the lack of consistency of grade across the deposit, as well as receiving the outstanding initial sampling results, it will be necessary for the Company to undertake further more geographically dense pit sampling in order to get a more accurate analysis of the deposit, its economics and the most appropriate method of mining the material following which, the complete results of the sampling will be announced.
