Photo-Me International PLC24 February 2005 PHOTO-ME INTERNATIONAL plc DKS 15 series minilabs awarded imaging industry's top prize for an unprecedented third successive year PMI's DKS 15 series minilabs, which benefit from PMI's patented MSB TM(microlens sharpened beam) exposure system, have won, for an unprecedented thirdsuccessive year, the most prestigious accolade of the imaging industry. This is the DIMA (Digital Imaging Marketing Association) Digital PrinterShoot-Out in the digital minilab category at the imaging industry's maingathering, the 2005 PMA (Photo Marketing Association) Convention and Trade Showin Orlando, Florida this week. In the 10 years of the DIMA awards, no other firm has won awards in even twosuccessive years. PMI's DKS 1510 minilab won the award for 8 inch prints, whilst PMI's System 89minilab (manufactured for Kodak to market and including Kodak software) won theaward for 10 inch prints - the only two categories for which PMI's equipment wasentered. The awards are a result of votes by trade attendees - photographers,professionals in the field of photographic printing, and journalists - on theoverall quality and colour accuracy of digital prints submitted anonymously totheir judgement. PMI beat competition from major imaging companies, such asFuji, Noritsu and AGFA.
