Forbidden's flagship product, FORscene is a 'pay-as-you-go' web-based tool forvideo post production, (logging, editing, browsing and publishing) forbroadcast, Internet and mobile video. Its Java design allows modern PCs, Macsand Linux machines to use FORscene without any software installation or hardwareupgrades. The RTS Technology Awards, which are the "gold standard of achievement in thetelevision community", seek to recognise excellence in technological activitiesfrom 'scene-to-screen and back'. The award for Technology in the Post ProductionProcess was presented by Stephen Cole, Presenter, BBC World. This award is forproducts which have done the most to improve the processes between originalcreation or capture of new content, or the restoration of previously-capturedcontent, and the storage of completed content prior to delivery to the user.
