Kazakhmys PLC17 April 2008 17 April 2008 KAZAKHMYS SHARES TO BE INCLUDED IN KAZAKHSTAN STOCK EXCHANGE (KASE) INDEX. Kazakhmys PLC ("Kazakhmys") announces that it will join the Kazakh Stock Exchange ("KASE") Index of leading Kazakh shares from 1 May, 2008. The inclusion of Kazakhmys in the Index is consistent with the Kazakhstan StockExchange's intention to make the Index more representative of the Kazakheconomy. KASE anticipates that trading volumes and liquidity in Kazakhmys shareson the Kazakh exchange should increase as a result of inclusion in the Index.
