NOTIFICATION OF IMPENDING RETIREMENT OF TWO EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS

Lagos Nigeria - June 4, 2018:

Kindly be informed of the impending retirement of Mrs. Olutola Omotola and Mr. Wale Oyedeji as Executive Directors of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc ("GTBank"), with effect from August 11, 2018.

Brief Profile of the Retiring Directors:

1. Mr. Wale Oyedeji

Mr. Wale Oyedeji joined GTBank in 1994 and was appointed as an Executive Director in October 2011.

During his term as an Executive Director, Mr. Oyedeji was responsible for the Corporate Bank Group of the Bank and contributed significantly to the business of the Bank.

2. Mrs. Olutola Omotola

Mrs. Omotola joined the Bank in 2006 and was appointed as an Executive Director in October 2011.

During her term as Executive Director, Mrs. Omotola was responsible for the Corporate Services Division of the Bank and contributed in no small measure to the growth of the Bank.

The Bank is deeply appreciative of Mrs. Olutola Omotola and Mr. Wale Oyedeji for their hardwork and contribution to the success of the Bank and wishes them success in their future endeavours.
