ILX rides Cloud services with new training courses

Progility is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, ILX Group, the leading provider of e-learning software and business training, is expanding its product offering through leveraging its technology experience from across the Progility businesses by offering top-quality training courses in Cloud computing.

Cloud services are growing fast as companies, organisations and individuals look to establish and build standards for the management, utilisation and governance of new technologies. Therefore the Group is delighted to be offering a vendor-neutral cloud certification program, a default program for developing the right cloud skills and competencies.

Cloud computing enables end users to access software, platforms, infrastructure and more as a service, wherever and whenever needed. With Google, Amazon, Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft and others committed to Cloud computing, Cloud computing is set to continue its adoption and expansion.

ILX is further extending its IT training with new courses on COBIT, the globally recognised framework for IT management and governance; ISO/IEC 27001, the information security management system; the Kepner-Tregoe issue-resolution system; and TOGAF, the enterprise architecture framework. E-learning versions of each of these subjects are also now available.

In a further strengthening of ILX's technology suite, the Group will also offer further advanced courses on ITIL, the IT infrastructure library, that are not already classroom delivered by ILX. These additional courses build on ILX's award winning offering of PPM courses - project portfolio management - in which it is a market leader.
