Thestation, produced specifically for IKEA, will be launched in January 2006 in 9of its UK stores. This follows a successful trial of the station over the lastfew months, which proved a hit with both staff and customers. Last year, 33million people visited IKEA stores in the UK. 'IKEA Live' is a subscription radio station that will broadcast from Immedia'sstudios in Newbury. The station is designed to entertain, educate and motivateIKEA's workforce.
