IFC invests US$15 million in new Lonmin shares
The following amendment has been made to the IFC invests US$15 million in new Lonmin shares announcement released on 27 November 2008 at 15.36 under RNS No 1072J
In the second paragraph the figure should read 830,8 pence per share.
Further to the Lonmin IFC (International Finance Corporation) partnership signed on 13 March 2007, the IFC has notified Lonmin that it is exercising the final tranche of its option to invest in new Lonmin shares with an investment of US$15 million.
Lonmin will issue 1,172,583 shares to the IFC at 830,8 pence per share, a discount of 5.0% to the closing mid market price of Lonmin shares on the London Stock Exchange on 26 November 2008. Following this investment the IFC will hold 1,759,313 Lonmin shares equating to 1.12% of the current issued share capital.
