Immunodiagnostic Systems Hldgs PLC10 October 2006 IDS LAUNCHES INTO AUSTRIA IDS opens direct distribution operations in Austria Immunodiagnostic Systems Holdings (IDS), a leading producer of diagnostictesting kits for the clinical and research markets, announces plans to enter theAustrian market this month with its first direct distribution operation inAustria. The company, which employs 50 people at its Tyneside, UK head officeand manufacturing plant, already boasts direct sales and marketing subsidiariesin the USA, Germany and France. "Austria is an obvious choice for our expansion programme, with a total In VitroDiagnostics market worth in excess of €400m," said IDS Managing Director Dr.Roger Duggan.
