APPOINTMENT OF IAN SHAW TO THE
STRATEGY AND INTEGRATION ADVISORY BOARD
Quindell Portfolio Plc (AIM: QPP.L), the brand extension company and a leading practice provider of consultancy, software and outsourcing in its key markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Shaw to its Strategy and Integration Advisory Board.
Ian has 33 years experience working within the IT industry, with over 20 of these spent with Bupa. During his career with BupaIan held the positions of Head of Applications Development and Support, Chief Services Officer and Chief Systems Officer, and directed the IT service for a range of business areas, including UK Insurance with a turnover of £1.5billion per annum and Group functions with staffing of over 400.
In his capacity of Head of Applications Development and Support, Ian was instrumental in the design and deployment of a new £10million Customer Service environment, which introduced a pre-authorisation model to the industry, resulting in major increases in customer satisfaction and contributing significantly to Bupa's ten year period of high market share and sustained profitable performance.
Since leaving Bupa in 2010, Ian has extended his work into the Public Sector, working with a number of NHS Foundation Trusts, focussing on transformation through business insight and information governance.
