Hungary Post renews contract with Escher Group

Escher Group Holdings plc (AIM: ESCH, "Escher" or "the Group"), a world-leading provider of outsourced point-of-service software to the postal industry, announces that Hungary's national postal service operator Magyar Posta has extended its annual contract for maintenance and support.

Magyar Posta has a national network comprising of 2,700 post offices, 350 mobile posts, and a vehicle fleet of 3,000. In addition to mail delivery, Magyar Posta also offers logistics, banking, and marketing services.

Initially appointed in 1999, Escher's Riposte technology supports Magyar Posta's extensive point-of-service network, and provides the functionality required to operate its business in an efficient and scalable way.
