Hung Renewed for Third Season on HBO

Entertainment One Ltd., the international entertainment group, is pleased to announce the renewal of hit comedy series Hung - the latest success for its expanding television business.

The Group has secured a third season, ten-episode order of the popular series from premium U.S. cable channel HBO which will see it return in 2011.

The second season of Hung is currently airing in the U.S. and Canada. In 2009, the series premiere drew 3.7 million viewers, making it one of HBO's highest rated series openers. The series ended with a gross average of nine million total viewers, making it the most-watched freshman series in HBO history.

Hung, which airs in more than 50 countries and on Channel 4 in the UK, is one of several summer successes for eOne Television including a ratings success for its new series - Rookie Blue. The cop drama was one of the top-rated scripted summer series airing simultaneously on ABC in U.S. and Global in Canada and was recently renewed by both networks for a second season. The first season of Rookie Blue and another eOne series, Shattered, are slated to air in the U.K. this autumn on the Hallmark Channel.

Darren Throop, CEO of Entertainment One, commented:

"Hung marked our first major success on a premium cable channel under the Entertainment One banner and helped establish eOne as a leading independent producer of premium television programming. This renewal, along with the success of several of our other eOne television productions including Rookie Blue, demonstrates the current momentum within our television business and we look forward to its continued growth over the coming year."
