Repair and insurance company HomeServe said on Tuesday that it will pay its shareholders a special dividend of 30p per share in July, as it posted an adjusted pretax profit of £85.4m from £84.1m last year.Revenue rose to £584.2m in the year ending 31st March 2015 from £568.3m last year. The total number of customers rose to 6.3m from 5.5m, with the UK business now counting 2.1.m customers and strong growth in the US. Chief executive Richard Harpin said: "We have grown our profit, whilst at the same time significantly increasing marketing investment in the USA." "Customer satisfaction and retention are increasing and we will continue to invest in technology to deliver even better service levels and efficiencies. The USA continues to be our most significant opportunity. During the year we have seen strong customer growth and we continue to have an excellent partner pipeline," he added.Related Shares:
