Aurum Mining PLC05 March 2007 AURUM MINING PLC ("the Company") 5 March 2007 HOLDING IN COMPANY The Company has today received notification, dated 28 February 2007, that as atthat date Altima Central Asia Master Fund ("ACAMF"), a controlled undertaking ofAltima Central Asia Fund Limited and domiciled in the Cayman Islands, acquired5,140,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Shares") representingapproximately 12.11% of the Company's shares in issue at that time. Theregistered holder of these Shares is DB Prime Brokerage. ACAMF is advised by Altima International Limited and sub-advised by AltimaPartners LLP, a UK partnership authorised and regulated by the FSA, each of whomconsequently is an "indirect holder" of the above Shares by virtue of DTR 5.2.1.
