Balfour Beatty plc ("the Company") received notice today from Citibank, N.A. London Branch, on behalf of Standard Life Investments Limited ("Standard Life") that Standard Life now hold 33,456,484 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 6.998% of the total voting rights of the Company.
Of the 33,456,484 ordinary shares, the Company has been advised that 18,843,403 (3.942%) comprise a direct interest in the Company's total voting rights and that 14,613,081 (3.057%) comprise an indirect interest in the Company's total voting rights.
