Asia Energy PLC05 October 2005 Asia Energy plc ("the Company") Notification of significant holding Under sections 198 to 202 of the Companies Act 1985 and rule 15 of the AIM Rulesthe following information falls to be disclosed: The Company has been notified that Fidelity International Limited and its directand indirect subsidiaries along with Fidelity Management Research Company and its direct and indirect subsidiaries, have acquired a further interest in the shares of the Company resulting in a total holding of 5,210,118 Ordinary Shares of 10p each in the Company.
