Asia Energy PLC31 January 2006 Asia Energy PLC ("the Company") Notification of significant holding Under sections 198 to 202 of the Companies Act 1985 ("the Act") and rule 15 ofthe AIM Rules the following information falls to be disclosed: The Company was notified on 31 January 2006 that Credit Suisse Securities(Europe) Limited ("CSSEL") and its subsidiary companies have acquired a furtherinterest in the shares of the Company resulting in a total holding of 3,849,671Ordinary Shares of 10p each in the Company. This represents 8.02% of the issuedshare capital of the Company.
