On 18 December 2009 Brainspark announced, inter alia, that 110,000,000 new ordinary shares of 0.01 pence each in the Company (the "Placing Shares") had been placed at 0.5 pence per share. The Placing Shares have been admitted to trading on AIM with effect from 8 a.m. today, 23 December 2009.
As a result of the placing of the Placing Shares, Ms Monica Chiara now holds 40,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company equivalent to 8.21 per cent. of the enlarged issued share capital of Brainspark.
The total number of ordinary shares in the Company now in issue, including the Placing Shares, is 487,058,695.
