Pursuant to DTR 5, The Alumasc Group plc (the "Company") announces that it has received notification that Aviva Group plc & its subsidiaries have acquired 346,000 ordinary shares in the Company's capital, equating to 346,000 voting rights. This takes the holding of Aviva plc & its subsidiaries from 3,636,702 ordinary shares and voting rights (10.06% of the voting rights in the Company) to 3,982,702 ordinary shares and voting rights (11.02% of the voting rights in the Company).

The voting rights are held and controlled by Delta Lloyd Asset Management NV with the following chain of controlled undertakings:
