London: 7 December 2011 - ECR Minerals plc advises that on 1 December 2011, the Company was notified by Mr C. Higgs that following an acquisition of ordinary shares of the Company of 0.1 pence ("Ordinary Shares") on 29 November 2011, Mr Higgs is the beneficial holder of a total of 18,070,383 Ordinary Shares, equating to approximately 3% of the Ordinary Shares in issue. The Company has a total of 602,346,081 Ordinary Shares in issue with each carrying the right to one vote.
