Balkan Investment Company advised us on 19 November 2010 that the aggregate shareholding of it and its subsidiary companies in Fyffes plc remains unchanged at 37,238,334. It further stated that the percentage this represents of the ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares, has increased to 11.33% as a result of the repurchase of 17,000,000 ordinary shares in the market by Fyffes plc announced on 18 November 2010.
