- Notification of Major Interest in Shares
On 20 January 2009, the Company received notification from Aviva plc, under the obligations imposed by Section DTR5 of the FSA's Disclosure & Transparency Rules that, as at 19 January 2009, Aviva plc and its subsidiaries had a notifiable interest in the voting rights attached to 15,573,063 Ordinary 13 8/9p shares of The Rank Group Plc (registered, or to be registered in the names set out in the Schedule below) representing 3.99% of the total voting rights in The Rank Group Plc.
