("AIB") has received notification from FidelityInvestments of the following interests in AIB Shares, held by (i) FMR Corp. andits direct and indirect subsidiaries, and (ii) Fidelity International Limited,and its direct and indirect subsidiaries, both being non-beneficial holders. Theinterests notified, which have been acquired solely for investment purposes,amount to 43,458,750 shares in aggregate, and represent 4.987% of AIB's issuedshares (which, as of today's date, number 871,440,881 shares, exclusive of46,994,689 Treasury Shares held).
