Notification of a Major Interest

PureCircle (LSE: PURE), the world's leading producer and marketer of high purity stevia ingredients has today been notified by one of its substantial shareholders, Wang Tak Company Limited (which includes the holdings of Mr Tan Boon Seng), that following recent purchases of PureCircle shares from the open market, their total interest held in the Company has increased to 33,998,411 shares representing 20.65% of the issued share capital (excluding treasury shares).

Wang Tak Company Limited ("Wang Tak") holds 33,183,858 of these shares and Mr Tan Boon Seng holds 814,553. Mr Tan Boon Seng is a director of Wang Tak (a company wholly owned by Lee Hing Development Limited where Mr Tan Boon Seng is a substantial shareholder).

The average price of these purchases since the last notification is GBP3.113.
