Holding in Company
Island Oil & Gas plc ('Island' or the 'Company') has received notification from Celtex Exploration Services Limited ("Celtex") of an increase in its shareholding in the Company. Following a purchase of 500,000 ordinary shares of €0.01 each in the capital of the Company at an average price of 29.38 pence per share, Celtex is now the holder of 2,225,456 ordinary shares of €0.01 each in Island. This holding represents approximately 1.9% of the 116,556,990 shares currently in issue.
Mr Paul Griffiths, CEO of Island has a beneficial interest in Celtex.
