Panmure Gordon & Co. plc05 April 2007 Panmure Gordon & Co. plc Notification of major shareholding Panmure Gordon & Co. plc ("the Company") has received notification dated 4 April2007 from UKPG Holdings LLC informing the Company that, following an increase inthe issued share capital of the Company, its interest in 18,521,295 ordinary 4pshares now represents 27% of the total voting rights of the Company. 9,260,648 of the shares rank pari passu in all respects with the ordinary sharesin issue, save that, pending satisfaction of one of a number of conditions, suchshares do not currently have the right to vote in general meetings. The issued share capital of the Company consists of 70,452,439 ordinary sharesof 4p each.
